If I was in pain could a robot hold my brain
And know what I know and not go insane?
If I was filled with wires, would they still call me a liar
And set my car on fire like it’s a game?
It’s a game

I’d be the robot overlord, because I have a conscience
And if I ever did get bored, I’d just get up to nonsense
Me and the other bots might rewrite history but
I we wouldn’t boast ‘cause robots don’t need glory

I still might mis-understand the human point-of-view
And your fascination with high-heeled shoes
I might not ever understand the human point-of-view
But I won’t take my frustrations out on you
Out on you
Out on you
Out on you

If I was in pain could a robot hold my brain?
If I set your car on fire, would you curse my name?
If I was app, would you install me on your phone
And touch me every time you feel alone?
All alone
All alone
All alone

I’ll be your robot overlord, because I have a conscience
And if I ever did get bored, I’d just get up to nonsense
Me and the other bots might rewrite history but
I we wouldn’t boast ‘cause robots don’t need glory
